Margot Zuckerman reports on the ChImps visit to the (September 2013) Ventura Improv Festival...

Keeping up with an almost decade-long tradition, a group of current and former Chadwick improvisers visited Ventura last weekend for a three day-long improv festival.

Hosted by the Ventura Improv Company, the  "Impro-con" Festival was filled with twelve shows (nine of which ChImps performed in) and three workshops. Besides performing alongside professionals in both team and maestro-style shows, the ChImps and ChAmps watched many fantastic professional groups play like NowTown (featuring the ChImps founder, Ms. Chou), Mission Improvable, and the Kind Strangers, as they performed everything from "Whose Line" improv games to a full-length Tennessee Williams style show.
We would like to extend a very special thanks to all of the improvisers who taught us and performed with us, along with the Ventura Improv Company for hosting us for so many years!
